ARTIST STATEMENT

I create interactive experiences that highlight stories that have been overlooked, harnessing the power of narrative to encourage positive social growth. Through these experiences, I hope to bring validation and healing to the owners of these silenced stories, and create tools to educate the privileged.

Currently, I'm working on a series of paintings--on paper, skulls, and paper-mache animals--as a form of self-healing in the midst of our chaotic world. I hope they can bring you some comfort, too.
