BELLY UP
Solo thesis exhibition featuring interactive sculptures. This show was intended to draw awareness to the Kinder Morgan pipeline's danger to the Salish Sea and the associated indigenous land rights, and was accompanied by a presentation on the subject.
HYBRID MASKS
Intended to explore the visibility and erasure of hybrid identities, each mask is created out of interviews and personal elements of the subjects. This project is ongoing and searching for more subjects.
SKULLERY
An exploration of art looking back at its audience. Using a combination of McKibben air muscles, the Microsoft Kinect, and both C++ and Max coding, Skullery was able to track its viewers as they moved past.
TOOLS TO PICK YOURSELF APART WITH
Depression and self-loathing are given form.
1983
Part of a joint exhibition with the theme of 'Memory,' this installation deals with my experience as part of a FIRST Robotics team. Our team was unique in its large size and strict culture; while we were supposed to have fun, we often felt instead like Coach's little soldiers.
